That's right folks, the tradition that I started is actually immortalized in print now. What I've created is now part of history, reguardless of what happens to it!

One of my students wrote an auto-biography about her journey through her spiritual growth and the ups and downs and obsticles and achievements that went with all of it. Needless to say, there is a Chapter on Omnimancy, including a brief translator for the Thergists since they never could seem to understand the point!

I'm rather proud that I have a published author as a student, but also that now my tradition is in print! And this isn't one of those "print on demand" things, this is through a publishing house!

The name of the book is "A Seeker's Journey and Initiation into Wicca." Yes, she's wiccan but we don't hold that against her (most of the time. ;) )

My mom was babysitting as normal on Sunday, and Alex goes crazy everytime he sees an animal on TV (or in real life). He also likes watching TV every once in a while and will point at it kinda asking "what's that?" in baby grunts. My mom is kinda use to going "See Alex...That's a cat!" or whatever.

So they were watching Lord of the Rings: Two Towers, and Alex wanted up on Mom's lap to watch TV. And mom goes "See Alex...A man's head on a spike!"

Yeah...I gotta love my mom! :)

(No, my mom normally doesn't do that, and caught herself afterwards and laughed to tears at it for like 15 minutes because she couldn't believe she said that! Besides, it was a Uriqi to be technical. :) )

Well, as a public update, I've been at my new contract for a month now. I'm looking forward to the 15th, since that is when my first "real" check is coming, although even that one isn't a full one, but mostly a full one.

And I learned something new today. Evidently my son has a nickname at my Ex's daycare.....TANK. Everyone calls him that there evidently. As nick names go, it's better than "Big Al" which I've also heard him called today. Dunno, maybe it's just that Juton blood in him. :) He IS a big guy, not fat, but BIG.

You know it's one of those IGTBTM (It's Good to be the Mage) instances when you can buy name brand 70-90 dollar shirts and pants (Calvin Klien, DKNY, etc.) for $20s because you feel you need to update your wardrobe that hasn't been updated for almost 10 years, so you get 77.5% off everything for quality stuff.

I almost feel like one of those wives that come home and spent FAR too much money and says "But honey, look at how much we saved!..."

I heard from the baby-sitter today who is also one of Alex's teachers at daycare of a particular episode. There is another kid mathew who is 16 months and is bigger than Alex (who is almost 14 months). Well, Mathew is rather a bully. He'll take toys or roll over the other babies. Well, he tried that the other day with Alex. Mathew tried to roll over top Alex, then Alex flipped Mathew over and pinned him. Alex is definately the warlord of the infant room. Rocco (13 months) is his leutenant and enforcer too. :-)

Alex is really loved by all there. All the little girls flock to him like you wouldn't believe. (I dropped him off at daycare to today and as I'm walking up, I hear "It's Alex!" from within the infant room. One of the girls I mentioned was excited to see Alex, even though she sees him every day. I think she's like 3). Even the teachers really like him. He's DEFINATELY going to be a charmer when he grows up. Look what he can do and he's barely ONE.

He's also learning to walk (not just cruise). He's made it about 6 feet now. He's lazy and perhaps too intelligent for his own good. Meaning, he can form words and such and enunciate them quite well, but he doesn't care to talk because he doesn't need to. His needs are met. (He's always been lazy. If there is an easier way to do something, he'll do that). He doesn't fall to far from the tree there. Meaning, I think he's capable of talking but hasn't found a reason to yet, or hasn't realized that that's the thing to do. The other kids in daycare don't really talk yet(at least those in his same class) so he doesn't feel the need. His advancements do seem dependant on what he sees in school of the other kids for him to try. He should be REAL interesting when he decides to truely communicate....

Death of Love

I'm annoucing that the Love of my life and I are getting a divorce. This has shocked most people and still shocks me. Amy has changed and blames me for something rather pety and selfish, and so feels what she is now doing to me is justified to force me to divorce her. I will go into FULL details in another more private post. Everyone disagrees with what Amy is doing and why, but that isn't stopping her. If anything we both are is stubborn. I just truely hope that one day she can overcome her demons, forgive me and forgive herself. I do still want the best for her, but she no longer believes that. I will stop now before I tell the world too much of my private life.

Needless to say, this is why I have disappeared for so long for those that know me online. I was trying despirately to resolve the issues to no avail. While I will not say either party is innocent, I think the actions taken have been extreme.

I have been extremely devisated by what is going on and I thank everyone again for their support through all of this.

Amy has given birth....

Well, Amy's water broke on Monday night (technically tuesday night) at 1 AM. Eleven hours later, we now have a new baby boy. Alexander Edward Moyer was born at 12:36 PM on Tuesday May 18th,2004 , and is 6 pounds 12 ounces and 19 5/8th inches long/tall.
